{ lucifer turns 11 }

Dear Friends & Family,

Some of you have heard of Lucifer. Some of you have met Lucifer. And no, I am not talking about the devil...

Lucifer is the most loved dog in Berlin. You think you love your dog? Well, of course you do. But do you throw your dog a birthday party with all his/her human friends, and are there presents to open and a burger to devour? Because that is what Lucifer's birthday is like every year!

He literally opens his gifts. When Amalie sent out the invite to her friends for us to join her in celebrating her dog's birthday, we all thought nothing out of the ordinary and asked what we could bring. And as I wrapped his gift, I wondered to myself if I was placing too many tapes to wrap it. I obviously underestimated Lucifer's gift unwrapping skillz.

So another year older, another successful birthday. He had his fill of presents, treats, and a burger, and we all got fed delicious burgers with all the fixings from our meat cooking vegetarian friend.

xoxo,
The Prindles.

( sunday & monday in edinburgh )

Dear Friends & Family,

I have to apologize for leaving things unfinished...I never got a chance to write about the last two days. It's been so long now that I hope I am able to still capture the essence of our trip.

 But I have jet lag, and I'm getting over some kind of cold. My brain is a little fuzzy, and there may be some grammatical errors.

From what my fuzzy brain can remember, Sunday was our last full day, so we explored museums. We started our day having breakfast with our friends one last time before they went to the convention. After that we parted ways to explore. Museums are free in Edinburgh. How awesome is that? And it was raining that day, so being indoors was exactly what we needed.

Our last dinner was made special by making reservations at Devil's Advocate with a large selection of whisky & scotch. We came across it on our first day of exploring, and we knew we wanted to come back to treat ourselves. We focused on trying new scotch. I'm usually not a scotch fan due to the peatiness, but there were a few I could easily sip all night. We ended our night at a small beer bar enjoying our last Edinburgh craft beer.

Monday we had a few hours to kill before we had to leave to the airport. We walked around areas we hadn't gone before and came across some beautiful cemeteries, a coffee shop carrying coffee from The Barn (in Berlin) playing A Tribe Called Quest, and walking around the Scottish National Portrait Museum to kill the last hour.

I think that's the best I can do, so here are more photos for your viewing enjoyment!
